40 Yard Skip

A 40-yard skip, with dimensions of 6.2m x 2.4m x 2.5m (20’3’’ x 7’9’’ x 8’2’’), is ideal for extensive projects. This large skip can handle vast amounts of waste, making it suitable for major construction work, industrial clean-ups, and large-scale demolitions. It provides a highly efficient and convenient solution for substantial waste disposal needs.

Our standard hire period for a skip is 1 week, providing ample time for most projects. If you need to extend the hire for an additional week, please let us know in advance.

For a faster solution, we offer a wait-and-load service, where the skip is loaded within 30 minutes for an extra charge of £70.

For the delivery and collection of your skip, please ensure all obstacles are cleared, the skip will fit in the designated area, and there is sufficient turning space for our vehicle.

Ensure gates are open and the skip is level-loaded at collection time. This helps us provide efficient and hassle-free service.

If you need to place the skip on public highways or public space, you must obtain a permit from your local council.

TK Skip Hire cannot process your order without this permit if the skip is to be placed on public land. Please arrange the necessary permit in advance to ensure a smooth and compliant hire process.

Certain items are prohibited from being disposed of in our skips. These include vinyl, underlay, torch on roofing felt, astroturf, paint, oils, asbestos, electrical items, food waste, and car tyres. For the safe and compliant disposal of these materials, please seek alternative methods or contact us for guidance.
