Though it will cost more and occasionally not be possible on busy routes, etc., you can have the skips delivered much farther than these.
A skip permit typically costs about £25; however, this can vary significantly from council to council. The duration for which you plan to have a skip placed on public property is another consideration; the longer the duration, the higher the cost.
However, you would save these licenses and other expenses if you choose to have the skip delivered to private land, which would save you money.
How does permits works
Although it can happen much more quickly or more slowly, the local council will typically take about 4 days to get a skip hire permit. This is something you should keep in mind when placing your order because we have no influence over it.

A skip cannot be placed on pavement. If you are placing the skip fully on private property, you do not require a skip license.
It could be necessary to mark the skip and add safety lights. This might consist of:
